Join artist Merry Robertson for a relaxed, hands-on workshop exploring botanical printmaking and the art of handmade gifting.
Using simple monoprinting techniques, you will create your own unique botanical designs before transforming them into beautiful cards, gift tags and wrapping paper.
Merry will also demonstrate simple ways to frame and display your botanical prints for those interested in turning their finished pieces into artwork.
Perfect for beginners and creatives alike, this workshop offers a chance to experiment, create and make thoughtful, nature-inspired pieces for Christmas or special occasions throughout the year.

An apron will be provided, however, please wear clothes that you are happy to get paint/ink on.
Participants wish to also bring (optional):
- Fineliners and coloured pencils
- Stanley knife, ruler, cutting board
Pressed flowers or leaves (relatively fresh, not fully dried), thin but sturdy, and a size range from small to large.
The workshop is held onsite at Albany’s Historic Whaling Station, please bring a jumper as the venue space may get cold.
No previous experience is required, and this workshop is for ages 18 years+.
